On returns, and the quiet joy of a good one
Our return rate is remarkable. Not because we're clever. Because our fit room does the hard work up front.

Returns are a gift.
They are the clearest possible signal that a piece did not work. We read every return note by hand. Seven of them have led to pattern revisions this season alone.
If a MATAN piece doesn't sit right, please return it. We would rather you wear something else of ours — or nothing of ours — than something that doesn't quite feel like you.
